Allentown, Pennsylvania, March 20, 2024. The first tenants are in. The Waterfront Development Company began welcoming companies into 615 Waterfront, the first Class A office building at The Waterfront, in March 2023, with more suites in fit-out. The six-story building holds roughly 120,000 square feet, with about 100,000 square feet of office space on floors two through six and 20,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space on the ground floor. Nelson Worldwide of Philadelphia designed the building; High Construction of Lancaster built it. Every floor looks out on the Lehigh River and the half-mile River Walk.
Vibe Power Yoga
On the ground floor, Vibe Power Yoga is opening its second Lehigh Valley location in under two years, with classes from beginner to advanced: heated and non-heated yoga, yoga and weights, cycle, Yin, and workshops. The studio sits in the southeast corner facing the river. “The Waterfront Development Company is thrilled to welcome Vibe Power Yoga to its newest location,” said Mark Jaindl, CEO and co-founder of The Waterfront. “We set out to create a campus where people can recharge through time with others, connection with nature, and wellness, which makes Vibe a fitting addition to our growing tenant roster.”
Lehigh Valley Planning Commission
The Lehigh Valley Planning Commission (LVPC) moved into 9,100 square feet on the second floor, including a public meeting room overlooking the river that seats up to 100. The space was designed by 4/4 Architecture and built by Allentown-based Serfass Construction. “The Waterfront, an urban brownfield brought back along transit lines with green infrastructure, lets LVPC practice what we preach every day,” said Executive Director Becky Bradley. “Its location keeps us in the center of the Lehigh Valley, next to the river, in a multimodal setting that connects to existing neighborhoods.”
Plunkett & Graver, P.C.
Plunkett & Graver, P.C., a firm focused on residential and commercial real estate law, took 3,000 square feet on the third floor in March 2023. “We recognized that The Waterfront will transform the Lehigh Valley, and we wanted to be part of that,” said Partner Molly Graver, Esq. In the warmer months, the team watches the river fill with boats, paddleboarders, and the Lehigh University crew teams, and year-round, it tracks local wildlife past the floor-to-ceiling windows. Proximity to Riverside Drive, Tilghman Street, and the American Parkway bridges puts every part of Allentown minutes away.
Jaindl Enterprises
Jaindl Enterprises, the firm behind The Waterfront, occupies about 9,400 square feet on the fourth floor, designed by Bernardon and built by Serfass. The headquarters centers on a large kitchen, a coffee bar, a wellness room, and conference and breakout areas designed for project work. Glass walls gridded with black mullions, brick accents, and exposed ceilings give the space a modern, industrial character that aligns with the brand.
Miers Insurance
Miers Insurance, an independent agency serving the Lehigh Valley since 1892, relocated to The Waterfront to accommodate growth. “The views, the amenities, and the setting played a real role in our decision; we wanted a space where the team feels inspired to come to work,” said President and CEO Rocky Gencarelli. The agency is settling into roughly 6,000 square feet, designed by Bernardon and built by Serfass, with natural light, river views, and on-site security.
