The next phase of The Waterfront is underway, bringing the river its first homes. Two apartment buildings will rise on either side of 615 Waterfront, the six-story Class A office building that opened in 2023. Phase 2 turns a working office address into a place where people also live.
River House comes first. The 201-unit building at 30 East Allen Street is the first residential building at The Waterfront, with studios, one-bedrooms, and two-bedrooms, plus ground-floor space for a 5,000-square-foot cafe. Residents will have a lounge, work-from-home spaces, a central courtyard, a gated lawn, a pool, a fitness facility, and a rooftop deck, all a short walk from the water.
Stone Hall is next. The 157-unit building is the second residential building in the plan, mostly one- and two-bedroom apartments with some studios. Together, the two buildings frame the office at the center of the district and bring residents into the daily rhythm of the riverfront.
Phase 2 is the moment a single building becomes a neighborhood. Offices fill in the morning, the River Walk fills at midday, and now homes hold the district through the evening.
