Jaindl Properties To Develop The Waterfront
Jaindl Properties, founded in 2011 by Mark and Zachary Jaindl, announced today that it would be taking the lead developer position in The Waterfront: a twenty-nine-acre redevelopment project along the Lehigh River in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
The transformative project is designed to bring new work and life opportunities to the formerly underutilized Lehigh Structural Steel site. The project will introduce twelve new buildings and a range of recreational opportunities designed to create a vibrant new tourism destination along the urban waterway.
“In addition to the planned minor league hockey arena in Center City, Allentown officials have identified the Lehigh River waterfront as a top priority for redevelopment. Jaindl said his company is looking forward to being part of the city’s revitalization.”
The Waterfront Development Company, headed by Jaindl Properties, will commence design work for the twenty-nine-acre campus immediately and will be announcing plans for demolition of unusable assets in the near future.
